Music
A self-taught composer, Katia has used an experimental and intuitive process to develop her compositional style. Describing it as a restful and nourishing activity, it has allowed her to explore the essence of the harp - its techniques, colours, resonances and versatility.

Arrangement of Ἠλέκτρα / Electra by Katia Mestrovic (from harp quintet to harp trio), premiered at Tempo Rubato in February 2026. Audio: a live one minute highlight reel, recorded at the World Harp Congress, Toronto 2026; with performers Ariel Sol and Paul Nicolaou.
Luminescence

Designed to soothe patients and doctors in waiting rooms at hospitals. Commission by The Hush Foundation for a marimba and harp duet - Luminescence - premiered at St. Vincent’s Hospital in November, 2024 (marimba and harp). Arrangement of Luminescence by Katia Mestrovic (from marimba and harp to harp duo), extended and retitled to Sunrise, to premiere at The Church of All Nations (through The Boîte) in November 2026.
